Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB)

We will give you and your family free, independent and confidential advice about benefits, legal issues and any money problems you may have.

We offer confidential advice, information, emotional support and training to carers of any age.

Connexions Staffordshire

We are a free and friendly support service for all 13-19 year olds (and up to 25 year olds for young people with learning difficulties and/or disabilities). Our Personal Advisers offer the information, advice and practical help young people need with any issues that may be affecting their life - from working and learning, to more personal matters such as relationships, health and housing. Disability Solutions

We offer services to anyone in North Staffordshire who has a query or problem connected with disability.

We are based in Hanley but you can contact our helpline for benefits advice, holiday access, equipment information and other services by calling 01782 683800.

We give clear, impartial advice and information for parents and carers of disabled children and professionals.  We provide clear, practical advice on daily living equipment and empower individuals to make decisions.

North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare NHS Trust and South Staffordshire and Shropshire Healthcare Trust

Mental health, specialist learning disability and related services for people of all ages.

Services provided include Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), child psychological services, children's occupational therapy, autistic spectrum service, children's learning disability community nurses, specialist children's services and other specialist services.

Staffordshire Family Information Service

When you contact us we will offer you free information and advice on; the different types of childcare available for your child, registered provision in your area, care for children with special needs, help with paying for childcare, eg tax credits and more. Staffordshire Parent Partnership Service (SPPS)

We work with parents of children aged 0 to 19 years on any aspect of Special Educational Needs.

We help to develop closer links and better communication between families, schools, the County Council Education Service, voluntary organisations and other professionals involved with a child who may have a Special Educational Need.

Staffordshire Safeguarding Children Board

We are responsible for helping to protect children from abuse and neglect.
