How to Access Our Services
The G8way Team can help disabled children, young people and their families to access activities and services within the community. The team offers information and advice about activities and services as well as one to one support.
The team are also organising a series of events for disabled children and their families. More information about these can be found in the What's On In Your Area|| section of this website.

Request for a Social Work Assessment/Support
Anyone can refer a disabled child or their family to us for help if you have their permission.
All referrals go to our First Response Team.
They will be able to help you find out what is available for your child and family.

One of the team members will ask some questions about the disabled child and their family. This will help them to decide the best way they can help you. They will do this within one working day. This may mean that the referral is then dealt with by your local Children's Disability Service Team.
