Help Us Provide a Better Service

What is Supporting People?

Supporting People is a Government programme which helps pay for housing-related support services, offering vulnerable people the opportunity to improve their quality of life. It helps people live independently in the community and provides a stable environment for those who need it most.

How are we doing?

We need to engage with those who use our services, so that we can let the Government and those we provide services know exactly how we're performing.  It's important that we tell you everything you need to know in a timely, accurate and honest manner. Because Supporting People is a Government programme, we also need to be cost effective in delivering the very best services that we possibly can.

Why your views are important

We can't involve those who use our services if we don't tell them what's available and how they can access them. This is why it's so important to us that we effectively engage with those who need our services, particularly the harder to reach groups, including minority groups, homeless people, travellers and asylum seekers. We're here to help vulnerable people as much as we can and we believe we can only achieve this by effectively involving you in the decisions we make and about how our services can better be accessed and delivered. We plan to do this in a number of different ways as we aim to continuously improve Supporting People.

Want to get involved or feedback your ideas on how the service could be improved?

Your support provider will be able to tell you about opportunities for you to become involved in developing and improving the support service that you receive.
