In House Services

Our in house services provide a range of accommodation and care, including respite, and work alongside other agencies and carers.  Services work with individuals to respect and promote their independence, protect their status and encourage their individuality and growth.  Our eight residential homes for adults with learning disabilities are currently undergoing a process of modernisation which will see service users moving on to supported housing or alternate living environments.

Two of our services are not currently part of the modernisation process; 114 Douglas Road in Newcastle provides respite care and Horninglow Bungalows in Burton upon Trent provides a supported living environment to 16 adults with learning disabilities.  Referrals to these services can be made via your Local Social Care and Health Area Office.|

A Social Worker will undertake an assessment of need and if appropriate will forward a referral to the relevant manager.

All our residential, supported living and respite services are registered and inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).  Click here for more information on CQC| and to read inspection reports on our services.
