The Coalition Government is now encouraging local authorities to be accountable for their own performance data. In April 2011 the Government published the 'Single data list'| (external link).
Up to 31 March 2011 we aimed to meet National Indicators set by Government, which replaced national Best Value targets in April 2008, and our own local targets. Information about the former National Indicators and Best Value targets is available from the Audit Commission| (external link).
For previous planning performance refer to Best Value indicator BV109a up to 2007-8, which was replaced by National Indicator NI 157 from 1 April 2008 to 31 March 2011.
