Environmental Stewardship

Environmental Stewardship is an agri-environment scheme run by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra).

This can have benefits for users of rights of way as many of the schemes involve the creation of permissive routes to add vital links to the rights of way network. The DEFRA website provides links to the various schemes in Staffordshire.
