Consall Nature Park Trails
Consall Nature Park makes an excellent base for exploring the River Churnet Valley along the network of Public Rights of Way and the waymarked trails.

The Green walk is approximately one mile and would take approximately half an hour to complete. The route takes you around the ponds of the Nature Park and offers views of dippers and the occasional kingfisher, amongst other flora and fauna.
The Red Walk is approximately three miles in length and would take approximately one and a half hours to complete. Stout footwear is recommended for this route as steep gradients are encountered through some of the woodland.
The White Walk is approximately five miles long and would take approximately two hours to complete. Again, stout footwear is recommended for this route as steep gradients are encountered.
The Purple Walk is an extension of the White Walk and adds an extra half mile, or half an hour to the walk. This walk is not for the faint hearted as steep gradients are encountered but the reward of the spectacular views of the Churnet Valley makes the effort worthwhile. |
