John O'Leary Education Centre

Situated in the heart of Cannock Chase Country Park, this purpose built Education Centre provides an ideal location for all your educational needs.

Since its opening in August 2000, many schools and educational organisations have taken advantage of the superb facilities and the beautiful surroundings.

The aim of the Education Centre is to increase awareness of environmental education in general and specifically Cannock Chase, by providing a base for visits from schools, colleges and universities.

Funded by Staffordshire County Council, the Staffordshire Environmental Fund and the Countryside Agency, the Centre is fully equipped and is complemented by the Cannock Chase Visitor Centre and café which provides a wide range of hot and cold meals and snacks. Packed lunches can also be provided either at the centre or from your own school.

The Education Centre consists of 2 large rooms having comfortable seating capacity for 30 people in each room. If the weather is fine, why not use the picnic tables outdoors?
