e-land - Access to Staffordshire's land based environmental information. 'Archaeology, building conservation, sustainability, landscape, forestry, bio-diversity, countryside and rights of way'

Welcome to e-Land, a means of access to information about the Environment in Staffordshire

Staffordshire County Council manages large amounts of information relating to the county's landscapes, its biodiversity, its archaeology and its historic built environment. We also actively manage the county's rights of way, open spaces and country parks. Our intention, through this site, is to make as much information as possible freely available. We are still working on these pages, but in the meantime the site provides general information about the environment and countryside and links to other sites managed by partner organisations and hosting environmental information relevant to Staffordshire.

In some cases legal constraints will limit the information that we can supply on-line. If you can't find what you are looking for please contact the person responsible for your area of interest, listed on the contacts page. Or, for more detailed information on who to contact, try the contact pages under the various subjects. We may be able to supply the information by other means.
