Annual Monitoring Reports are prepared to help us monitor progress in the preparation of the DPDs against the targets we set ourselves in the Minerals and Waste Development Scheme. The reports are also used to help monitor the implementation of our development plan policies.

Staffordshire Minerals Forum discusses the range of issues affecting the extraction of minerals in Staffordshire.
Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) sets out how Staffordshire County Council intends to consult and involve the community in policy preparation and planning decisions. The Borough/District Councils and Stoke-on-Trent City Council have their own SCI.
Strategic Flood Risk Assessment is carried out to ensure that minerals and waste policies, and strategic site options, will not create any additional risks of flooding.

Strategic Environmental Assessment are carried out to determine the likely environmental, economic and social impacts of the development plan documents in order to ensure that they are as sustainable as possible.
