Staffordshire County Council is Staffordshire's largest service provider and as such is involved in many aspects of people's lives.
Here are a few of the services we provide:

• support Staffordshire's public transport network; • maintain over 400 Staffordshire schools; • run 55 libraries (including mobile libraries); • run care homes and youth clubs; • protect the countryside from exploitation and manage planning for minerals and waste operations;

• maintain and improve 3,500 miles of roads; • promote and develop economic regeneration schemes and champion Staffordshire Business and Tourism; • operate Household Recycling Centres and organise recycling, landfill and energy from waste;

• manage over 2,000 hectares of Country Parks, Greenways and Picnic Areas; • work closely with a whole range of public and private sector partners to improve the quality of life for the people of Staffordshire;
