The v awards
The v awards recognise young people for their volunteering and highlights some of the skills they have learnt during their volunteering experience. There are a number of different awards:
-
After logging 15 hours of volunteering young people receive a 15 hour award which is offered in conjunction with Staffordshire Young People's Service.
-
For those who would like to continue volunteering there is the v50 award which allows young people to log the hours they have done in a volunteering placement and to reflect on the project and identify the impact they have had on their community.
-
After the v50 award young people can move on to the v Impact Awards where young people choose one of the following awards to apply for: passions, skills, community, campaigning or leadership.
