Admission Appeals (Schools)
If you have been refused a place at your preferred Staffordshire school and you are dissatisfied with the school place offered you may wish to lodge a formal appeal against this decision to an Independent Appeals Panel. The decision of an Appeals Panel is final and binding on all parties concerned.
In reference to admission appeals for 2013, please refer to the follwoing indicative appeals timetable for the likely dates when appeals will be held.

There are two types of appeals for primary schools. If you are considering lodging an appeal because you have been refused a school place due to infant class size legislation (i.e. a key stage one class can not have more than 30 pupils) you will need to read the infant class size leaflet. There are only limited grounds on which your appeal will be successful.
