Staffordshire post 16 transport scheme
This scheme may not be the cheapest or best option for you - always check out your other options| before applying.
You may find that the 'Your Staffordshire' card is the best way of you getting to school or college. The card is free of charge to any Staffordshire resident under the age of 20 and allows travel on public buses when the journey starts or ends in Staffordshire at £1 per journey. Am I eligbile for help under the post 16 transport scheme?
Is council tax for your address paid to Staffordshire, not Stoke on Trent?
Are you 19 years old or under on 31 August 2011?
Are you studying a full time (at least 12 hours timetabled sessions per week)further education course (A levels, GCSEs BTEC First or National, NVQ level 1, 2 or 3)?

Are you studying at the nearest school or college that offers the course?

If you answered 'Yes' to all these questions you could receive assistance with your travel, but always check out your other options| before you apply as it may not be the cheapest or most convenient way for you to travel.
Post 16 students with special educational needs looking for transport assistance need to complete a slightly different application form|.
