To be sure that you receive your pass by the beginning of term you must apply by 10 July 2009.  If you change your mind you can return your pass and receive a refund for any time unused (a £10 administration fee will be deducted). Please note that no refunds are given after Easter.

To apply either:

• Download an application form and email your form to student.transport@staffordshire.gov.uk. Post 16 students with special educational needs have to complete a slightly different application form - see the transport policy pages for students with special educational needs for more information.

• Or obtain an application booklet (which includes an application form) from your school, college, local library or Connexions office and return your completed application form to Integrated Transport and Planning Unit, Development Services Directorate, Staffordshire County Council, Riverway, Stafford, ST16 3TJ

Once we have received your application form, if you are entitled to transport assistance we will then send you a form to complete and return with any payment due, and any photographs if needed. Your pass will normally be sent straight to your school or college for you to collect.

It can take up to 28 days to issue your pass after the second form has been returned to us. You will need to make and pay for your own travel arrangements until the pass is received.
