Are you thinking about going to College or Sixth Form next year? Could you get there and back for £1.56 a day?
College students on a bus

  • In 2006, passenger cars generated 81 million tons of CO2 - this accounts for 15% of total CO2 emissions in the UK (information provided by the Energy Saving Trust www.energysavingtrust.org.uk).

  • Car CO2 emissions account for 34% of your own personal emissions (emissions generated by our energy use at home and for transport).

  • Travelling by bus rather than by car reduces your CO2 emissions by about half.

Get to college and sixth form with a travel pass through Staffordshire County Council Post 16 Partnership scheme

Post 16 students with special educational needs looking for transport assistance need to complete a slightly different application form - see the transport policy pages for students with special educational needs for more information.

Staffordshire County Council must publish a statement of our post 16 transport policy each year. The statement must be published by 31 May. If you have any comments regarding our policy please let us know using the feedback page by 31 March 2010.
