ICT Training Facilities

We have various facilities available at both sites (Gloucester House and Sandyford Street), these include the following:

  • 3 Training Rooms at Sandyford Street: 10 PCs in 2 of the rooms, 12 PCs in 1 room
  • 2 Training Rooms at Gloucester House with 10 PCs
  • Interactive Whiteboards
  • Scanners with automatic document feeders
  • 19" monitors on request
  • Trackball (mouse alternative) on request

  • Large print keyboards on request
  • 2 Portable radio controlled hearing aid induction loop systems

  • Dual boot workstations at the Gloucester House site providing both Windows XP and Windows 2000 Professional

  • Accessibility software within the Operating System

Additional Specific Requirements

ICT Training aims to make its courses accessible to all.

  • We work with Flash Ley Resources Centre to provide our documentation in different formats. These formats include braille, moon and audio tape.
  • The Assist team work with the ICT Training Centre with the provision of British Sign Language. 
  • We work with Central Print and Design for our printed material, and we can also provide printed documentation on different coloured paper as appropriate for your requirements.
