Higher Education

Although the County Council has no direct involvement in coordinating Higher Education, it has its own Student Finance Service, which administers financial support to people taking post-'A' level study at university and college. The kind of support we can offer includes help with tuition fees, loans for living costs, the Higher Education Grant, supplementary grants, and disabled student allowances.
