Educational Awards and Benefits

The County Council provides a range of support services to help parents help their children to have a quality education.

• Benefits and grants can help with school transport and school meals. 
• If your child stays on at school after 16, you may eligible for a Maintenance Allowance, which is available for children at school. 
• There are other mandatory or discretionary grants available for Higher and Further Education.
