Through this theme we aim to protect children from harm and prevent them being involved in crime, or becoming victims of crime.
The Children's Fund will work in collaboration with the Staffordshire Youth Offending Services and Community Safety Partnerships by contributing to strategic plans that aim to reduce crime amongst children and young people. Services should aim to:
1. Reduce and protect vulnerable children from becoming victims of bullying, harassment and other anti-social behaviour;
2. Work individually and/or in group settings to reduce offending for the age group 8-13 years old;
3. Develop appropriate information collecting and sharing with Staffordshire Youth Offending Service and other relevant agencies to ensure that the needs of those children are met;
4. Support parents and children who are vulnerable to committing crime.
