
Independent Evaluation
An independent evaluator from The Policy Research Institute (formerly the Regional Research Institute) based at the University of Wolverhampton, was commissioned in January 2004 to carry out a two year evaluation of the programme in six phases looking at the impact of services and the success of practices developed. The team of researchers include Prof Dee Cook, Dr Angela Morgan, Derek Bunce and Kulbir Thandi. The late Dr. Martin Roche lead this work and reported to the Children's Fund Development Group on a regular basis. A further two year evaluation focussing on the crime prevention and healthy lifestyles projects was carried out between April 2006 and March 2008. The results of the first part of this evaluation on the Junior Youth Inclusion Projects are now available. Please contact Margaret Crook if you would like a copy of the report.
The results of the healthy lifestyles evaluation and a summary of the final two year evaluation will be available in April 2008.
