Hello, my name is Pauline Davies and I am the Participation Officer for the Children and Young People's Participation Team in Staffordshire.
I worked in education for 28years and then worked at the VAST Children and Families Team in Stoke-on-Trent as the Involvement Officer for 6yrs. My role was to organise Congress events for Primary, Special and Children in Care, offer involvement support and training to partner services for children and young people, and lead on the S-O-T Active Participation Strategy and plan
My job in Staffordshire will be very similar. This means that I will be working alongside Sue and Carol to help children to have a voice in everything which may affect them. Some of the things we will be working on are training for School Council's, Children in Care and other services and also offering support and training on active involvement.
I am really looking forward to my new and exciting role. Pauline
