Staffordshire's Childcare Stars will be shining this February

A special awards ceremony is to be held on 3 February in Stafford.

Childcare providers from across Staffordshire who have been recognised as 'outstanding' in their recent Ofsted inspections are to receive recognition for their hard work in a special ceremony on Wednesday February 3.

Hosted by the Early Years and Childcare service at Staffordshire County Council, from 7pm, Peter Traves, Corporate Director for Children and Lifelong Learning will present the awards that will also be received by twelve childcare providers who have achieved their Early Years Professional Status (EYPS).

County Councillor Ian Parry, Deputy Leader and Cabinet Lead for Children and Young People said: "Star awards are given to highlight achievement and standards in childcare and I am delighted with the success of childcare providers here in Staffordshire".
