Staffordshire County Council recognises the importance of the childcare sector and that many childcare providers are operating under very challenging circumstances. In order to support the sector the local authority is making Sustainability Grants available, any childcare provider can apply for this grant by downloading the application form below:

Alternatively you can request a form from the Family Information Service by emailing| the team or by contacting them direct on 0300 111 8007.
The aim of the funding is to support childcare providers that are facing short term sustainability issues and who can demonstrate that they have in place an effective business plan that will ensure the longer term viability of the business. The deadline for the submission of applications is 5pm on 20th February 2012; applications for funding will be assessed by a panel of local authority Early Years Officers.
