The Family Information Service (FIS) Team have now moved into their new home based at Staffordshire County Council's new flagship offices, Staffordshire Place.
The FIS is located in the Customer Service Centre at Staffordshire Place 2, the centre has state of the art telephone and computer systems so parents and providers will receive an even better class of service. The FIS has also extended its operating hours, replacing the previous out of hours answer machine with staff from the Customer Service Centre now taking out of hours calls until 8.00pm Monday to Thursdays and until 6.00pm on Fridays, this service will also be available on Saturdays. This will continue to ensure the service can provide the best possible outcome for its users.
The FIS will help parents and carers find suitable childcare to meet their requirements, we will help find activities for children within any locality in Staffordshire, find free childcare places for 3 and 4 year olds and help childcare providers to fulfill their vacancies.
