We stock a wide variety of toys, games, puzzles, DVDs, books, musical instruments, child safety equipment and much more for you to hire.

We also have a wide selection of books specifically for parents and carers, which give information and advice on all manner of childcare issues, including breastfeeding, sleep issues, feeding and weaning.

New This Month!

We have some brand new books covering the theme of feeding. These include the Baby-Led Weaning Cookbook, Annabel Karmel's Top 100 Finger Foods and The Big Book of Recipes for Babies, Toddlers and Children.

In addition to these new titles, we also have some brand new Bumbo seats with trays attached and booster seats for using with your dining chairs, all designed to make feeding fun and easy!

Hire charges start from just 60p to £3.00 and books are free of charge!

Following much hard work by all of the toy library staff and volunteers and a visit from the National Association of Toy and Leisure Libraries assessor, we have now achieved our Quality Play Matters award. Well done to all those concerned and a big thank you to all of our borrowers for your continuing support.

Resource Boxes

The Toy & Equipment Library has a variety of resource boxes available to hire including sensory boxes, multi cultural music and our wonderful earth.

Any group within the community can hire the boxes at reasonable rates.
