Family Support

"Working in partnership to support families"

Staffordshire is currently at the forefront of delivering services to young children and their families. It has shown a positive commitment to developing high quality services in this area, and to extending the national agenda by developing comprehensive services across different agencies. The development of multi-agency working is embedded in the ethos of Children's Trusts.

Aims:

To make a real difference to the quality of service and people's lives in the community
To learn from and build on existing good practice whilst improving services where they are not yet fully developed
To ensure services are co-ordinated across the various agencies responsible for delivery by developing a common understanding between professionals
To communicate the strategy and the services available
To ensure that Family Support is an integral part of the wider strategic vision - locally, countywide and nationally.
