Senco/Special Needs and Disabilities Team

Sencos are qualified and experienced teachers of pre-school children with additional needs. They are able to offer advice and support to private, voluntary and independent providers of early years education.

In addition, they can:

Offer visits to monitor children in settings.
Arrange meetings with parents and/or professionals to discuss support strategies.
Liaise with staff to support children's transitions.
