Common Assessment Framework

It's not always easy to know what to do if you are concerned about a child. Particularly if you are not exactly sure what their needs are or what you could do to help.

The Common Assessment Framework (CAF) will be introduced nationally in the next two years. It will be used by all agencies which deliver services to children.  Childminders and childcare settings may not need to complete a CAF themselves, but they will need to understand what is and how to help in completing one.
