Early Years Foundation Degree (EYFD)

This qualification continues to attract large numbers of applicants, currently there are around 600 Staffordshire students on this course.

The first intake of students graduated in 2007, many of whom have progressed to the BA (Hons) Top-up Degree and Early Years Professional Status.

Annual conferences are arranged for our EYFD students, with keynote speakers such as Penny Tassoni, Helen Moylett and Jennie Lindon.

The EYFD is mainly for experienced Level 3 practitioners, however all applicants are assessed on an individual basis. The course is offered at a range of universities and colleges, including Staffordshire University through a number of partner colleges accross the county.
