 Adult and Community Learning Service

ICT Computer Courses in Libraries and the Community

Staffordshire Adult and Community Learning Service and Staffordshire Library & Information Service offer computer classes for the complete beginner. Some classes are also held in some community venues.

The courses normally last six weeks, and include guidance on basic use of a computer, internet and e-mail. There is a charge of £30 but courses are free if you qualify for a library concession.

Courses are currently delivered in the following Libraries:

Barton Under Needwood Library, Biddulph Library, Blythe Bridge Library, Brereton Library, Brewood Library, Burntwood Library, Burton LibraryBiddulph Library, Cheslyn Hay Library, Codsall Library, Great Wyrley Library, Heath Hayes Library, Hednesford Library, Holmcroft Library, Kidsgrove Library, Lichfield Library, Perton Library, Rising Brook Library, Silverdale Library, Tamworth Library, Uttoxeter Library, Werrington Library.

Ask at one of the libraries above to see if there are places available.

Cannock, Codsall, Leek, and Rugeley Libraries also offer computer courses with other learning providers. Call or visit them for more information.
