Exhibition of Adult Learner's Photography in Oils at Shugborough Hall

Staffordshire County Council's Adult and Community Learning Service worked in partnership with Making Space, a Rugeley & Lichfield Support Service for people with mental health problems, organising a course incorporating photography and oil painting.  The beautiful results of this course are on show, demonstrating the artistic abilities of all those who attended the course. 

The Photography in Oils was an eight week course put on together with   Staffordshire County Council Adult and Community Learning team and    eleven learners from Chase and South Staffordshire districts.  The aim of the course was for the learners to gain confidence by learning new skills, meeting new people, accessing a local public venue and ultimately to create pieces of art, using photography and oil painting.

The Exhibition runs from August until the Hall closes at the end of  October.
