The Staffordshire School Choice Advice Service is an independent, impartial and free service. The aim of the service is to support parents with the secondary school admissions and appeals process.
If you have a child currently in year 6 at primary school you would have been notified of the outcome of your application by 2nd class post on 1st March 2010.
If you made your application online you should have received an email notification on 01st March 2010. If you have still not received your email notification please contact the admissions team on 01785 278593 who will be able to provide you with details of the offer made.
If you are happy with the school your child has been allocated you will need to confirm that you accept the offer within 2 weeks of the offer being made. An acceptance slip is available online.
If you are not happy with the school you have been offered you have the right to appeal against the decision. The School Choice Advice Service may be able to provide you with further support with the school appeals process. The link on the right provides further information about the school appeals process. Also the Advisory Centre for Education produce a useful booklet:

If you are refused a place at your preferred school your child's name will automatically be placed on a waiting list until the end of the autumn term.
