School Choice Advice: Independent, impartial and free advice.

If you have a child currently in year 6 at primary school you will have recently applied for their place at secondary school.

You will be notified of the outcome of your application by 2nd class post on 1st March 2010. If you made your application online you will receive an email notification on 1st March 2010.

If you are happy with the school your child has been allocated you will need to confirm that you accept the offer within 2 weeks of the offer being made. If you are not happy with the offer you have the right to appeal against the decision. The School Choice Advice Service may be able to provide you with further advice about the appeals process. If you are refused a place at your preferred school your child's name will automatically be placed on a waiting list until the end of the autumn term.

For further information about the admissions and appeals process please refer to the links on the left.
