Community Safety Partnerships
Each District or Borough in the County has a Community Safety Partnership (sometimes called a Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership). Staffordshire Youth Offending Service plays an important role in the Partnerships. The aim of these partnerships is to work together with all the relevant agencies, including the Police, County Council, Health Services, the Voluntary Sector, local Education Services and others, to reduce crime and offending behaviour.
The strategies focus on issues that effect local communities and are based on local information gathered from an audit undertaken in the area.
