Having Your Civil Partnership in a Register Office

You may wish to have a ceremony at one of the many Register Offices throughout the county, although you can choose to hold your ceremony at any register office in England and Wales.  Or you can choose to attend the office with two witnesses and sign the schedule.  Legally a ceremony is not required and the fee is the same; this is referred to as "signing the schedule".

In Staffordshire there are 8 register offices which have dedicated ceremony rooms in which your marriage or civil partnership ceremony can take place. Many have gardens and car parking and all are decorated and furnished to a high standard. The register offices which currently have ceremony rooms are:
