
County Buildings is widely regarded as one of the finest late Victorian buildings in Great Britain.

It is situated at the heart of the historic county town of Stafford.
The building is licensed to hold ceremonies in any one of five locations, making it ideal for occasions attended by from 25 to 100 guests.
Locations vary from the opulent splendour of the Council Chamber to the intimate warmth of the Members' Library. The building's magnificent sweeping staircase provides a unique setting for your wedding photographs, whether formal or reportage.
The design of County Buildings was the work of the esteemed architect Henry T Hare, who went on to become president of the Royal Institute of British Architects. It was completed in 1895 and contains many unique details that will add colour and interest to any ceremony.
The building is fully accessible for people with disabilities.

During March 2006 The Oak Room hosted a luncheon for Her Majesty the Queen during her visit to celebrate the 800th anniversary of the granting of Stafford's Royal Charter.
