Copy Certificates
Staffordshire County Council Registration Services can provide assistance locating specific certificates and performing searches of records in a number of areas. For other information about Staffordshire in particular, Library Services can be an invaluable source since they often have copies of local publications and also hold census records on microfiche or microfilm.
Staffordshire Registration Services has custody of registers which have recorded births, deaths and marriages in Staffordshire since July 1837 when registration was introduced.
Applications for certificates can be made over the phone using credit card payment or in person at an office if you prefer to pay with cash. Postal applications can be made with cheques made payable to 'Staffordshire County Council'.
Please note the application fee includes the cost of return postage.
