We have taken advantage of the opportunities presented by the Race Relations (Amendment) Act, 2000 to adopt an innovative approach to the way we buy goods and services from other companies. When working in partnership with other organisations, we have used our purchasing power and community leadership role, to influence and improve the equality and diversity practices of our contractors and service providers, and their sub contractors and suppliers. We aim to contribute to the improvement of employment opportunities and working practices for the people of Staffordshire.
