British Crime Survey||| - information about levels of crime and public attitudes to crime as well as other criminal justice issues.

PDFViolent Crime Action Plan 2008||| - This Plan sets out a range of actions to drive forward to reduce priority crime types, including gun and gang-related crime; knife crime; and sexual and domestic violence. It explores good practice that has been developed in these areas, and sets out how to build upon this in moving forward.

PDFNational Community Safety Plan 2008 - 11||| - a shared endeavour to deliver safer communities, recognising that community safety cannot be delivered successfully by the police on their own but must involve broadly based partnerships at both local and national level.

Drugs and Alcohol

Safe. Sensible. Social 2007  | | | - In June 2007, the Department of Health and the Home Office jointly launched an updated government alcohol strategy, setting out clear goals and actions to promote sensible drinking and reduce the harm that alcohol can cause.
