Spills from Vehicles
Animal by Products must be transported in leak-proof containers or vehicles. If any spills occur we can investigate to see whether the carrier is complying with the law. We will ensure that the spill is cleaned up safely.
To enable us to fully investigate the spill properly and to allow us a good chance of taking legal action against anyone who breaks the law, we need you to pass us as much information as quickly as possible;
Is you see a spill we need:
-
Date and time of the incident,
-
The registration number and description of the vehicle, and
-
The exact location of the incident.
If you have seen the incident take place you may be asked to provide a statement of what you have seen that could be used later in court.
Vehicle spills should be reported on 01785 277 875.
