Four generation family butchers, 6 years at our present site on Bleak House Farm. The farm shop employs twelve people including master butchers.
We source our meat from our own Hereford cattle herd and Gloucester Old Spot pork, all home-bred.
We also produce all cooked meats on site including hams, beef, pork and tongue. We produce our own home-cured bacon and specialty sausages, all award winning, including traditional pork pies, made in our onsite bakery along with steak and kidney and other meat pies.
The on site cafe also uses meats from the farm to produce the best breakfasts and breakfast sandwiches. Along with the retail the business serves Staffordshire County Council homes, day centres and schools. Also 60 other nursing homes, pubs, restaurants and hotels.
All extra supplies of meat and vegetables are sourced locally.
