W2R Energy from Waste Project
Staffordshire County Council recently appointed Veolia Environmental Services to build and operate a new 'Energy from Waste' facility at Four Ashes.
The facility will receive residual waste (i.e. waste than cannot be recycled and would otherwise go to landfill) from Staffordshire and also three neighbouring authorities, Sandwell, Walsall and Warwickshire.
