Tender Toolkit

The aim of this pack is to provide both procurement and non procurement staff with a simple toolkit to help tender in a simple and easy way, with minimum effort where the intended purchase carries low risk and is for less than £100,000 over the life of the contract.

It will help to establish contracts in these circumstances, which are legally and commercially sound. If you have requirements which take you outside of the scope of the pack then help is available from your Procurement Advisor, or from Staffordshire Procurement.

All purchases which have a value of £100,000 or above must be referred to your Procurement Advisor as certain EU rules may apply to the purchasing regime and contract terms which are purchase specific may be necessary.

Included in this pack are:

a risk assessment guide which will help you decide if it is appropriate to use the toolkit
the template tender document, so you only have to fill in the blanks
instructions on how to use the toolkit, and the guidance attached.
