Passenger Transport
The Integrated Transport & Planning Unit buys in bus service provision for mainstream supported services for the general public. We also organise contracts for a whole range of Children and Lifelong Learning and Social Care and Health bus services.
Routes, timetables and vehicle capacity and specifications are set and put out for open competitive tender. Operators must have been accepted for inclusion on the County Operator List having demonstrated compliance with all requirements of the County Council's Transport Conditions of Contract (2004).
